The beauty of living and working in Street, Somerset

We're proud to call Street home.

Welcome to Somerset. Hotter (culturally speaking) than Rio de Janeiro. But that's not us saying that. Check out National Geographic's Cool 16 for 2016 list.

The county has a long history steeped in culture, music and art - seen everywhere from the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, to Glastonbury Festival, to hip and cool Bruton, where you can find the internationally acclaimed Hauser & Wirth gallery.

We're proud to call Street home. The heart of our global business is here in Somerset, on the original site where Clarks began all those years ago. And we're attracting more and more people who want a cosmopolitan lifestyle but without the hectic (and expensive) pace of London life. Imagine a commute where you get to drive through glorious British countryside, past rolling hills and through quaint villages. That's the reality for many of our people.

Street itself enjoys excellent transport links. The cities of Bristol and Bath are both under an hour's drive away, with the large towns of Taunton, Yeovil and Wells even closer. If you're looking for creative inspiration, you don't have to look too far.

London too is easily accessible by rail. More than that, Street is a great gateway to the glorious South West. And as well as being surrounded by picturesque countryside and rural tranquillity, you're a short hop from the two coastlines of Devon and Dorset.

If you relocate to join us, you certainly won't be alone. You'll be joining people who have left behind London, Milan and Manchester, among other places, for Somerset. Here, you get the best of both worlds – you don't have to choose between personal and professional. You can have the highest quality of work, the professional challenge you crave, all the career development opportunities you could wish for. And the lifestyle many Londoners can only dream of.
